The development of the GPS and the computer technology bring new chance to the photogrammetry. The research of block adjustment supported by the GPS data have acquired exciting achievement. The application of the GPS data applied in aerial triangulation can reduce the dependency on the number of the field control points, fall the cost, short the map generation period and improve the economic benefit.At first, the article analyzes the development at present which GPS data applied in the aerial triangulation, introduces the relative dynamic location principle of GPS and the revolution on problems of GPS applied in aerial triangulation. Then , the article describes the mathematic model of block adjustment with independent model andundle block adjustment which both supported by GPS data .At last, takeing the Digital Aerial Triangulation System of the Red Star Digital Photogrammetry System as the testing platform, we required some conclusions significative to actual generation .
