The Upper Triassic T3x2 is the tight sandstone reservoir in Xiaoquan Xinchang area , west Sichuan. It has the poor physical property of porosity and permeability. The production mainly depends on the growing of the fractures in reservoir. Not only the fractures can connect the separated cavity to grow the effective reservoir space and improve the permeability of matrix, but also is the main path of petroleum migration. So the identification of the fracture and the estimation of fracture growing extent is a important work for log interpretation in this area.Since there is few core data and logging data in this area , the Lian-150 well is selected as the standard well that has imaging logging data which is combined with few core data to establish the fracture identified mode with BP neural network and gray system theory. It makes the satisfied effect of the muti-well interpretation and solves the problem of the absence of the exceptional well data and the difficulty of fracture identification. The farther study list as follows:1,All kinds conventional log data are synthetically used to study the fracture reservoir: The response characteristic of all kinds conventional log data of Tax2 in this area is summarized to make the manual interpretation.2,The applications of exceptional well data: The response characteristic of the imaging logging data and acoustic wave train logging in Lian-150 well are analyzed to identify the interval that fracture growing and the fracture occurrence in these intervals.3 ,The imaging logging data combining with the core data are used to the intervals that has not core data to select the suitable model sample and checkout with the SOM neural network. The model sample of Tax2 in west Sichuan is finally built up.4,Evaluation of the fracture reservoir with neural network: The BP natural network with the conventional log data is used to identify the fracture reservoir of T3x2 and evaluate the fracture growing degree. It makes the good result. The neural network model is built to identify and evaluate the similar interval in other wells.5, Evaluation of the fracture reservoir with gray system network: Identifying the fracture with gray system theory is explored in this study, the gray theory analysis model of fracture , fracture occurrence and fracture extent identify and growing evaluation is built using the gray connect identified method and combining with the conventional log data in T3x2 of Xiaoquan-Xinchang area in west Sichuan.
