Longshan Au-Sb mine, which consists of two main ore bodies, is an important Au-Sb deposit of Hunan. It lies in the boundary between Xinshao County and Linyuan City.Regionally, the deposit occurs in the overlap belt of the latitudinal tectonics of Baima mountain-Longshan and the frontal arc, northern limb of Qiyang epsilon type structure. The latitudinal tectonics arc made up of a series of domes, the deposit is in the center of Longshan comprehensive dome. And it is also located in Xuefeng old land.In the ore district, the structures include one drape which is called Longshan comprehensive dome, and four group faults that are different in strike direction. All the structures come through four period of structure action such as Xuefeng, Caledonian, Indosinian and Yanshan. They are the chief ore-controlling factors. In the district few magmatic bodies are found, but near to the district many of them are found and supposed to supply the mieralization material.Mineralization zoning shows that in topside stibium is the main type of ore, in downside, however gold is dominated. According to the abundant geochemical information, it can be concluded that most ore forming materials derived from the deep magmatic hydrothermal fluid and only a little came from the stratum Ore-bearing solution flowed the way which was offered by the matallogenetic structures (faults) from west to east and from down to top. The emplacement and enrichment of ore bodies distributed in strip shape of faults, especially those NWW strike faults in the ore districts. In this deposit, there have been found two mineralization types. One is well known as vein-injected type, the other is the eroded-tattered rock type that was just found in deep downside.According to the comprehensive analysis, the author suggests that the genesis of LongShan Au-Sb ore deposit should be middle-temperature and injection type deposit. The deposit was formed by the united effort of the earlier Yanshan movement, and metalligic fluid direction Based on the characteristics of mineralization and the regularities of mineralization enrichment, several ore bodies which deep hide in the mine area are doped out.
