Permian -Carboniferous hydrocarbon source rocks in Nanhuabei basin are widely distributed and have various types, which have offered the good material base for the oil and gas generation. Meanwhile, Nan12 well, Zhoucan13,16,17 ,8well have found the oil and gas showing among Permian-Carboniferous System,indicating that hydrocarbon generation .travelling and accumulation has happened in Nanhuabei basin. Also , exploring discovery was abtained in the basins ajacent to Nanhuabei area,which indicate that the carboniferous-permian system has great potential for hydrocarbon exploration.But,hydrocarbon exploration in Nanhuabei basin is unsuccessful. So it is essesial to conduct the tectonic and sedimentary evolution research and hydrocarbon source rock evaluation in late conboniferous to middle permain ,which can provide important scientific basis and full and accurate materials for the oil and gas exploration.Taking whole, integrated, dynamic analysis as the principle, using the multi-disciplinary theory, combining modern testing techniques and methodology , standing at the point of both microcosmic and macroscopic, this thesis has launched the following research work emphatically: ①Stratum division and contrasting of the caboniferous- permain system based on latest criterion has carried out in the studing area; ②Based on the division of the tectonic sequences and the episode of tectonic development,sedimentary systems, paleoenvironment and sedimentary faces are analyzed and summarized in the studing area ;also ,the original basin pattern of different tectonic stages are recovered from the late caboniferous to middle permain.Meanwhile, the corresponding sedimentary sequence,depositional and subsiding center is confirmed;③The threshold value of organic enrichment of the carbonate rock is primarily confirmed,and the evaluation criterion of three kinds of source rock are also setted up; ④Analysing indigenous characteristics of carbonatite organic matter in Taiyuan group is analysed and three kinds source rock are evaluated; ⑤Tectonic and sedimentary evolution are dominant factors to distribuing source rocks and hydrocarbon generation time sequence ;⑥Based on the former research ,dividing better areas Reading type,good formation ,and forecasing resource quantities.The conclusion is obtained as follows:1, The upper paleozoic system of the researching area is precisely divided and contrasted with each other ,based on the concept that the permian system is divided into two parts,and the carboniferous into three;this research will provide solid basal material for the future oil exploration.2, Based on analysis of stratum thickness, rock composition , provenance and paleocurrent of the studing area ,the palaeoenvironmental pattern and its evolution of the Benxi stage , Taiyuan stage, Shanxi stage and Shihezi stage is analyzed systematically.3 , Through late corboniferrous to middle permian the basin experienced movement from north to south;sedimentary systems gone through different stages from mesa - fort island system to fluvial system.4, The research has suggested the area in late carboniferous to early permianbelongs to the introcraton depressive type;and middle permian the big craton intercontinent deppresive type.5, Mudstone source rocks the researching area are good because of high thickness and abundence of organic matter.Most of the organic matter are type Ⅲ.The sourse rocks have been in higher mature stage,it mainly creates gas.6, On the basis of Analysing indigenous characteristics of carbonatite organic matter,results indicate that the abundence of organic matter is high.Most of organic matter are typeⅢ,the better part of them are type Ⅱ β.If it is resumed , the type may be reach Ⅱβ-ⅡA.The organic matter is at high-highest maturity stage. Based on Tmax numerical value ,carbonatite source rocks evolution has been divided into three portions:diagenic matamorphism phase, later diagenic matamorphism phase,hypogene action and matamorphic phase.7, Concerning the abundence of organic matter,coal rock is highest,carbon source rock is higher than coal source rock. Type of the organic matter are mainly Ⅲ. The organic matter is at to high-highest maturity stage and it is a prospective expression for looking for gas. The curve of Ro appear three stages,which is correspond with organic matter thermal degradation.8, Studying has showed that northern zhoukou depression is the favorable source rock distributive area ,Taiyuan formation ,Shanxi formation and middile to lower part of Xiashihezi formationt are favorable for hydrocarbon generation,of which the coal rock is especially atributable to the hydrocarbon generation; Geological resource amount of the upper paleozoic is recalculated to 12101 ×108m3.
