China is the 2nd crude oil consumption country now. We must advance on deep water and deep layer of ocean because of crude oil provide stress.According to the worldwide offshore oil-gas resources, seismic exploration targeted (middle) deep layer is the major method for acquisition for the information of ocean environment, resources and country's sovereign. Technology of ocean deep water and deep layer high-resolution seismic survey is raised in this paper.There are many characteristics in ocean deep water and deep layer high-resolution seismic survey because of the complexity of ocean structure. This paper discussed the two key problems—seismic data acquisition and data processing. This paper described some key techniques on data acquisition and data processing in one-component marine seismic exploration. Data acquisition includes source character, cable quality, high-resolution wide-dynamic range 24-bit digital seismometer, reasonable geometry parameters, and recorder factors etc. These parameter were discussed that feather angle, boat speed, airgun synchronization and streamer depth in the paper. Production of long spread geometry big airgun capacity was set out.Seismic processing contains filtering method, multiple attenuation based on wave equation and prestack depth migration. This paper gave emphasis to beam-forming filtering method. Beam-forming filter response is the key of this method. It is excellent that applying beam-forming filtering method to ocean deepwater seismic data processing. The wave equation algorithm based on the feedback model is being discussed in detail because it has a lot of advantages. Results on the simulated data show the robustness of the algorithm. This paper gives reviews on wave equation migration methods during last decades and points out the problems and solutions of different methods.And it gives the flow of prestack depth migration. True processing shows that the migration method has a higher computational efficiency and better imaging quality and suitable for imaging of complex geologic body.
