Stimulated by the exceeding progress of information technology, the development of mineral exploration has entered a new period of digitization and quantification.GIS is a technique that crossing various subjects, and it can efficiently manage and analyze information having spatial structure and export result. Along with continuously develop of GIS, it is already extensive application on many aspects of geo-science and exert the great function in the mineral predition and estimation.By specific item- 《 indentification and prediction of large-scale mine multitude region 》 —973 national sub-topic which is assumed by BIGM(Beijing institute of geological minerals ), my work include the foundation of multiple source geoscience database and part of field work at 2004 year. So theses lay particular emphasis on my product.The mostly contents of this paper are as follows in brief:Firstly, we collected regional datas about geology geophysical exploration geochemistry exploration and remote sensing in the emphasis area Then supported by technique of GIS, we set up the database of general geological information for Eastern Tianshan Mountain area; After these, selecting Kalatag and Xilekuduk Area as research emphasis area,we fuse the various kinds of information about geology geo-physics geo-chemistry remote sensing and so all, then extract mineralization information by using the software of MAPGIS 6.0, and block out the predition region on the basis of the spatial model.Study method: get the law of multiple source abnormal spatial distribution ; research the velationship between geo-anomaly and polymetal mine belt of the mine province.From the practice, we summarize out a work flow about plot-vectoring, and expatiation clearly the work content method accuracy requirement matters need attention of every step, at the same time, we put excellent combination proposal about what we need the equipment.At the foundation of finishing part of spatial data processing, we get mineral estimation about Kalatag area and set up the minerogenetic prediction model about Xilekuduk area. All these achievement promoteregion mineral overall estimation, and make an active probe about the research that fusing geo-sciential general information for mineral exploration and prediction model.
