Zhejiang's solar radiation models of different temporal and spatial scales were established by using ground observed data from 71 meteorological stations. Based on 7 principles of direct and diffuse solar radiation on title surface in or around Zhejiang province, the distribution of direct, diffuse and topography reflect solar radiation over rugged terrains was simulated combined with 1:250,000 DEM. And they were mapped for Zhejiang province. These data can be employed for relevant studies.Solar energy is instantaneous and rebirth. It can be used conveniently at any place with no pollution. So it is very important to us especially in these years of energy source absence.The main achievements of this project were concluded as follows:(1) Geographic information system (GIS) as the data processing platform, the thesis studied the geometrical relation between the sunray and real topography, solar radiation on sloping fields, and some atmospheric parameters such as clearness index k_t and direct component f_b which have effect on solar radiation. With DEM data of Zhejiang province as the consolidate reflection of topography, the spatial distribution of solar radiation of Zhejiang province on the real topography (gradient, aspect of slope and topographical shade) was accurately simulated based on the previous studies. And the distribution of astronomical radiation of Zhejiang province for each month was drawn with the resolution of 100m × 100m utilizing DEM data.(2) The rule of the solar radiation about space and time was analyzed. And the effected factors on solar radiation were discussed.(3) The distribution of solar radiation of Zhejiang province under real topography was drawn with the resolution of 100m × 100m. The provided data can be utilized as the basic geographical data for relative studies. Similar fine simulated work is rare in the related research from home and abroad.The thesis is characterized by:(1) The geographical and topographical characters were simulated more precisely using the 1:250,000 DEM data.(2) Based on the Component Analysis the distributed model under real topography wasconstructed. It was applied to Zhejiang province. Experiential coefficients suit for Zhejiang province are curve fitted through monthly average data of Zhejiang for years.
