The first research on networks is random graph. Recently, the research on networks has greatly improved and we begin to pay more and more attention to the complex networks' research. Actually, there are many large complex networks in natural and real systems, such as ecosystem, social system, internet, www, energy networks, transport networks, etc. In the past few years, this situation radically changed along with the increase of database and the buildup of computer's memory and operating.Complexity is a new science of 21st century and its' research object is complex systems. Complex systems contain many aspects, including biology, economy, environment, society, industry, etc. Complex systems are composed by many agents. There are relations among these agents, which make the complex system evolving. For complex systems, the dynamic rules of the whole system should be investigated. There are close relations between complex systems and complex networks. In this paper, we will introduce the relations between them.In this paper, we make a summary of the recent research on complex networks. And try to solve some problems with the concept and method of complex networks. The mainly work of this paper is: basing on the past research, we try to analyze thecitation network with the formula We made a stat. on the citation networks ofgrowing networks and the small-world networks. We use Matlab and SPSS to simulate, finding that the Adjusted R Square of 2000 year's growing networks studies is 0.858 and the Adjusted R Square of the small-world networks studies in 2000 year and 2001year are 0.933 and 0.977. This shows that the real results tallies with the results calculated viaformula So, the real data prove that the formula is right.
