With constant development of the highway transportation construction in western region, highway geological disasters often threaten safety of highway transportation and people. No. 316 national highway in South region of ShanXi province lies in QinBa mountainous area, its geological condition is so complicated that geological disasters occurred frequently. Under such background, the paper has analyzed highway geologic disasters and slope' s transform destruction model. Based on GIS, the paper builds the database of highway geological disasters, and the risk of different kinds of geological hazards are estimated and studied. This study has important significance in theories and actual engineering for preventing highway' s geological disasters.According to the relevant datums and field investigations, the paper makes No. 316 national highway in South region as research region to analyze the conditions of inoculating disasters and slope' s transform destruction model and draws such conclusions: (1)Many factors such as terrain, geomorphic, lithosome and solum character, geologic structure, neotectonic movement, rainfall condition, groundwater trait, anthropokinetic and so on influence on the study region, which make the geological disasters occurred frequently and generate enormous hazards. (2)The geological disasters have such distribution characteristics: terrain and tectonic make geological disasters development of osculating correlated property, relative concentrate property, packet property, periodic property and so on. (3)The slope' s geological disasters have six transform destruction models: bedding slip model, creep—tension frature transform destruction model, bend—tension fracture—shearing destruction model, rotary type slipping—tension destruction model, wedge slip model, accumulative formation' s sliding failure model on bedrock plane. These transform destruction models are jointed and result in slope' s transform destruction.Based on GIS, the paper builds the database of highway geological disasters and apply fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model to make evaluation on zone of risk and draw such conclusions: (1)Based on GIS and geological disasters space database, the paper builds the database of highway geological disasters and realizes the inquiry mutually, management of highway' s geological disasters information; (2)using analytic hierarchy process(AHP), the paper confirm the weight of reference index; (3) Applying fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model and jointing GIS technique, the paper make evaluation on zone of risk and gain ideal effect; (4)Generalizing essential characters of geological disasters development, the paper provide a good reference for prevention to highway geological disasters.
