Jiuquan Basin, Southern Margin Of The Hole In The Piedmont Foreland Thrust Belt Experimental Study Of Seismic Exploration Methods

Kulongshan Oil Reservoir, located in the south of the Qingxi Depression, Jiuxi Basin and overrided by the Qilianshan Mountain, is the primary producing area of the Yumen Oilfield. Due to the influence of the multistaged structural movements, variable geologic condition, the older strata override on the newer strata, difference between velocity of longitudinal and horizontal is very great , longitudinal velocity even reverse to 2000m/s.Great relative relief, highest elevation even to 4580m caused the "world-class" problem such as difficult seismic acquisition, poor seismic activation and acquisition conditions, dispersed wave field, low S/N, difficult imaging, incorrect migration, great interference, difficult static correction etc.The Oilfield' development was restricted because short of good seismic line which aross the mountains stem from the lack of advanced seismic technology and equipment. The writer devoted to the research in seismic technology including activation, acquisition, processing and interpretation of seismic data since the year of 2003 and made a great progress which result in the enhancement of seismic data quality and good coincidence between drilling and seismic data.
