Tarim basin is the biggest inland petro liferous basin of our country, which approaches almost 56 × 104km2 and contains abundance of petroleum resources. The breakthroughs for exploration has been made on Ordovician, Devonian, Carboniferous and Triassic of Akekule lobe, showing there are perfect conditions in the work areas for forming a big-mid oil-gas field.Under the theme of tectonic research, the text has detailedly analysed the forming and evolutions of Akekule lobe, the tectonic characters of fractures, unconformity and traps. Thus it has made study on denudation quanity resume and paleotectonics. At the same time, combining with condition and process of forming hydrocarbon reservoir, the text concludes the model of forming hydrocarbon reservoir, points out the favourable petroleum region and makes following cognition:1. Akekule lobe is a paleolobe which undergoed several tectonic moments, deforming stacking and form under the metamorphosed basement of ancient Sinian. The Cambrian and Ordovician is the vital periods for the formation of resource rock; The main movement is uplifting during Ordovician-Devonian, ancient Paleozoic Erathem uplifted and suffered denudation ofwhich the main signal is karstification; In Carboniferous, the big scale transgression brought thick argillaceous rock which is the favorable regional cap rock; During Miocene Epoch, the conformation in generally has inversed, forming the structural framework which is high in south, low in north and causing the adjustment and redistribution of petroleum in early stage.2. The faults in work area are mainly in EW, NE,NW and formed during Caledonian-Hercynian, offering favorable channels for petroleum's migration and controlling the formation and growth of traps.3. There are four regional unconformity: T74, T70,T60,T50, which raft and cross with faults, making up the network for the migration and causing the formation of stratigraphic trap.4. The type of trap of work area are mainly tectonic, stratigraphic trap and compound trap, which lay in belts and overlay each other vertically.5. The forming hydrocarbon reservoir in Akekule area can be divided mainly in four phrase: early Hercynian, late Hercynian, Indosinian-Yanshanian, Himalayan. The gathering, preservation, destruction and reformation of petroleum are polyphase.6. The region covered with salt body is the new favorable petroleum region for new hydrocarbon reservoir, especially the Ordovician under salt body and Triassic upon and beside the salt belt.
