The sporopollen analysis of the Dahu peat section in Dingnan city, Jiangxi province, dedicates to fetch up the lack of the pollen-climate data at Nanling Mountain region in China. Using of 76 samples for sporopollen analysis and 17 Calibrated 14C datings, combined with the lithology in this section, and consulting the concerned literatures and vegetation datas either in China or overseas, we have put up contrasts and analysis to resume primarily the courses of vegetational and climatic evolvement at Nanling Mountain region in China since 18000cal yrB.P..According to pollen sequence, we have posted vegetational and climatic records since Last Maximal Glacial Period at Nanling Mountain region in southern china: Around 18330-15630cal yrB.P., the vegetation was deciduous broad-leaved forest, and climate was cool and humidity; From 15630 calyrB.P. to 11600cal yrB.P., the vegetation gradually translated into deciduous(such as the primary component Alnus) and evergreen (such as Castanopsis/Lithorcarpus)broad-leaved forest, climate was humid and warm; From 11600cal yrB.P. to 6000, evergreen broad-leaved forest which was mainly composed of Castanopsis/Lithorcarpus appeared, the climate become warmmer and humid; Since 6000calyrB.P., forest acreage minished and ferns increased, which was likely to be effected both by climate changes and ancient people's activities. Since 18000 calyr B.P., the climate events at Nanling mountain region , seems to be not obvious compared with which in Northern China. We deduce that the climate in the period of H1 event is the most scurviness in Dahu area during Glacial Maximum, and the vegetation was sparse forest or grassland then. The climate events searched for by the pollen assemble in Dahu section in Dingnan area are consistent with the global events. However, because of the difference of the geographical location and working means, the climatic events' intensity and shape exist some divarications.H1 climate event: around 15630calyrB.P. (285cm) , The sporopollen analysis posted in the period of H1 climatic event, the vegetation in Dahu area may be sparse forest or grassland, precipitation per year was less than today. It is the climatic event when the degree of the decline in tempreture and increase in dry were most intense, and the environment was execrable. The climate was consistent with that in the northern warm temperate zone in china today, and the precipitation was that of humid zone and of the transition region between semi-humid zone and semi-aridity zone.B/A: 15000-12960calyrB.P.(255cm-230cm), in forest Cyclobalanopsis and Castanopsis/Lithorcarpus...
