Magnetic Data Pre-processing Software Development,

As we all know, the geomagnetic field is a changeable field. We observe geomagnetic data in the field which vary with time and site. In order to obtain anomaly of object body, we must make the diurnal correction , the normal field-correction (including the longitude and latitude correction) and the height correction. Moreover, we must do the experiments on instruments, and measure their magnetic prospecting precision, namely make the pretreatment of magnetic prospecting data. Without a set of public and complete software, the work above has been completed with the program programmed by magnetic researcher.At present, with mineral exploration as well as 1: 50,000 minerals investigations increasing, and the number of proton magnetometer (G856) enlarging, the pretreatment software on the proton magnetometer is urgently needed.This article has collected and organized the experiment methods for proton magnetometer, the pretreatment method of magnetic prospecting data and the way of precision measurement. In the diurnal correction, we have designed the method reducing the error of instrument system in the field and the adjustment method, and developed a set of visual-interfaced software of magnetic prospecting data pretreatment. With the actual data processing, we have got the satisfactory effect.
