Tibet plateau which is the biggest, the newest, and the highest earth plateau in the world, is considered as the earth dynamics field lab by the international scientific community. According to our research in the southern Tibet, based on the summary and analysis of researching results domestics and overseas, this thesis systematically study the problem of crust deformation of south Tibetan Plateau with geology tectonic, deformation model, GPS data process and forward and inversion of crust deformation. Ultimately, I gain some important conclusions and derived.Discussing many kinds of crust deformation model and studying the dislocation model, on the basis of the special circumstance of terra and geography, brings out the advantage and feasibility of forward and inversion of south Tibetan Plateau.Analyzing the background of tectonic and geology, On the basis of plentiful datum who are gain by surveying, I set some GPS deformation fields in different reference benchmark and study their sameness and difference on a comparative method. Finally, I conclude that each south Tibetan Plateau blocks has a different speed. On the basis of above theory, I analyze and study Yalung Zangbo Suture Zone, taking advantage of GMT and information of geology and physical geography, I have a program using C++ edited to calculate digital of it. At last, southern Tibet Plateau is simulated. As a result, south Tibetan Plateau deformation field comes being. Compared to GPS deformation speed, it shows a good purpose.Analyzing the velocity fault map on the basis of XIGA, using the inversion measurement of dislocation model, I get the inversion answer by using MATLAB calculation program. The results show that: the velocity in strike slip of fault is larger than those in dip slip between spot WT12 in the south of Yalung Zanbo River and spot SHOT in the north of that. The conclusion that there is strike fault between the two spots is conformed.
