The "Kunyang depressed fault" research was systematically carried out by geologists long time ago, and big argument is always happened on Kunyang group, some iron, copper mines were often found and developed, however, the gold mine exploration hasn't achieved any great breakthrough. Along to the deeper geological exploration was carried out in the recent years, Boka gold mine, at Dongchuan County, achieved great progress, Xinshan, Majiagou mine segment (Boka 1), Qijiaodi, Jiangjiawan mine segment (Boka 7) and Xiaoshuijin mine segment (Boka 11) has been continuously proved up. Based on the release information on July 18, 2005 from Canadian South Western Resource Inc., till April 27, 2005, the understanding reserves is 10.4 Mt, valued 2.88g/t and Au=0.97Moz;and the speculating reserves is 45.8Mt, valued 2.75g/t and Au=4.05Moz. The mineral exploration is still going on at present, and along with the deeper mineral exploration work carrying out, the mineral bed scope will be continually enlarged. The gold mine area locates Yangzi Terra, where is the middle part of western part of eastern Dian terra fault. The gold mine came from terrestrial fine scraping sediment rock of light metamorphosed rock of Kunyang Group, and carrying mineral rock system is mainly terrestrial find scraping sediment rock and with lava or volcanic scraping sediment rock, which are mainly metamorphic sandstone, slate, sandy slate, carbonic slate, carbon slate etc. The gold minerilization is controlled by brittle-tenacity shear belt and along with the action of multi-periodic structure distortion and multi-periodic minerilization. The gold ore body came from the middle part of brittle-tenacity shear belt. Because of the multi-minerilization repeatedly accumulation and minerilization action repeatedly happened, the mine source was multi-modified and concentrated, which leaded to the concentrating of big size, ultra-big size mine bed. The breakthrough of Boka gold mine, at Dongchuan County, leads to Dongchuan area becoming a real mine concentration area. The inner magma activity is very strong, which happened from Jinni era to Xishan era and mainly are basic magma, neutral-basic magma, neutral magma and lava, and the early magma was distorted by structure action. The gold mine bed displayed rocky reconstruction-metamorphic hydrothermal property, which has a closely space relation with magma. The mine bed type is metamorphic scraping gold mine bed. The mine bed scope is really big and its property is really similar to the Muronto gold mine in Uzbek. The minerilization came from secondary cranny, outer contacting belt, between rock body and carbonic slate, strata litho-logical boundary, in its joint and partially litho-logical contacting belt, the major minerilization type of Boka gold mine is strata controlled type, and which is the typical gold minerilization type at this minerilization belt. Wall rock alteration has silicalization, pyritization, carbonatization, chalcopyritization, chloritization etc. "Kunyang depressed fault" was formed by big scoped metamorphic scraping litho-logic gold mine. Through the property research of Boka gold mine, at Dongchuan County, this paper states its mine bed type is light metamorphiclitho-logic gold mine bed, which develops the new gold mine exploration area in our province, gives a clear direction in gold exploration for Kunyang Group, which is mainly working out the minerilization type and indicates the Boka gold mine bed type, at Dongchuan County, is a very prospective mine bed type. "Kunyang Depressed Fault" is the most prospective mineral exploration area in Yunnan province, like Boka gold mine type at Dongchuan County.
