Eastern Inner Mongolia and Western Liaoning are located in the Northeast part of China. This area is one of the most typical areas in the world, with well-developed continental Mesozoic sediments, yielding abundant fossils. Most notable fossils from this area are from the terrestrial Jurassic, especially in Jiulongshan Formation of Middle Jurassic and Yixian Formation of Late Jurassic, where abundant insects fossils have been discovered, providing important evidence for the study of the origin and early evolution of insects. The present paper is a taxonomic study of fossil Hagloids from Northeast China. First of all, the researching history on Hagloids and Orthoptera is provided. Secondly, the morphology and biology are reviewed. Then the origin, evolution and phylogenesis of Hagloids and Orthoptera are discussed. At last, a taxonomic work on Mesozoic Hagloids is presented. 19 species of 12 genera within Prophalangopisdae are reported, of which 19 species and 5 genera are new to science. Among the 12 genera studied, 6 genera are first recorded from China and 2 genera are the oldest in geological history in the world. The new genera and new species in this paper are listed as follows:New genera: Grammohagla gen. nov., Aethehagla gen. nov., Trachohagla gen. nov, Allaboilus gen. nov., Tenaboilus gen. nov..New species: Chifengia amans sp. nov., Chifengia lata sp. nov., Chifengia angustata sp. nov., Grammohagla striata sp. nov., Grammohagla latibasis sp. nov., Aethehagla hongi sp. nov., Trachohagla jeholia sp. nov., Protaboilus lini sp. nov., Protaboilus amblus sp. nov., Protaboilus aphanus sp. nov., Allaboilus dicrus sp. nov., Allaboilus gigantus sp. nov., Aboilus stratosus sp. nov., Aboilus cornutus sp. nov., Pseudohagala shihi sp. nov., Bacharaboilus aureus sp. nov., Brunneus sigmoideus sp. nov., Utanaboilus cathayanus sp. nov., Tenaboilus splendens sp. nov..
