Crustal deformation is a valid method that studies geologic tectonic movement, it's a kind of direct result and exterior idea of geologic tectonic movement, obviously subjects to the influence of shallow tectonic. So, all crustal deformation has a close relation with earthquake prediction and analyse prediction of other geologic disaster, it's impormant content and foundation of geodynamics research. Ininitially, the research on crustal deformation is mostly based on geophysics,geology and seismology, that studying on crustal movement rule with conventional geodesy method and instrument can't satisfy the request for crustal deformation analyse, usually exists the phenomenon of false prediction and fail to predict in geologic disaster prediction. With the development of GPS technique,many GPS crustal deformation monitioning net have built up in our country, thereby crustal deformation analyse in Chinese mainland with GPS data is of real siginigicance.Geologic tectonic of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is complex, and strong earthquakes occured time after time in Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. Northeast margin of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is the region in which tectonic movement is intense, is a window that knows apophysis of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and block mutual effect, and is of important value in reaserch on tectonic movement and strong earthquake prediction in Chinese mainland. This dissertation makes research on stress and strain field analyse and tectonic activity in Northeast region of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau with GPS observation data on the baisis of refering to much literature information. Beacause crustal deformation has a close relation to geologic tectonic charcteristic, so this dissertation simply introduces geologic tectonic background firstly, analyses geologic tectonic background of northeast region of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and the activity of major active faults on the basis of geologic background of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau; systemically expounds research method of horizontal crustal deformation, mainly introduces method of crustal stress and strain field using GPS observed data;learns active block theory and research method, discusses demarcation method of active block, and intruduces active block demarcation in northeast margin of Qinghai-Tibet detailedly; makes research on stress and strain field in northeast margin of Qinghai-Tibet with triangle method and active block theory using GPS observed data carried out in 1999 and 2001, obtaines coincident result with other...
