This paper devoted to more extensive of statistical inferences on the two-parameter exponential distribution and Weibull distribution when the date are censored. The researches main innovations are listed as follows.1. Suppose that the life of unit is distributed as two parameters exponential distribution. The Bayes estimations and approximate confidence limits of the reliability performances for cold standby series system are derived based on progressively type- II censored samples. Bayes estimators are obtained using Squared Error (SE), LINEX and General Entropy (GE) loss function.2. Prediction intervals of future record is derived and discussed based on progressively type- II censored samples. Predictive density functions are obtained in one- sample and two-sample cases for two parameters exponential distribution and a general class of distributions using Bayesian approach. And illustrative examples are given.3. The maximum likelihood estimators (MLEs) and the approximate maximum likelihood estimators (AMLE) are developed for estimating the unknown parameters for the Weibull model based on progressively hybrid censored samples. A numerical example is presented.4. Based on progressively hybrid censored samples, the empirical estimators of the reliability performances are obtained. At the same time, in order to investigate the accuracy of estimations, some numerical results are discussed using Monte-Carlo simulation.
