Cooperative learning, as a teaching theory and strategy system, has been broadly accepted and widely used all over the world. In abroad, it has been proved that cooperative learning is superior to traditional teaching method in many aspects. Compared with other methods, cooperative learning has an outstanding advantage in promoting the communication among the students, developing their social skills and social emotions. However, systematic research and practice on cooperative learning in our country started relatively late. Many teachers also lack overall understanding of the teaching theory and method of cooperative learning. Existing relevant research is mostly the theoretical research, lacking the teaching practical research.In this thesis, we regard general physics force course in high normal colleges, stick to the principle that the theory is combined with practice and carry on the practices of cooperative learning in solving problems guidance class. Aiming at exploring the effective way which can improve the high normal college students positive individual character, social skills and whole life study capacity, and offering experience for high normal colleges to do cooperative learningpractice and study widely and continuously.This thesis has totally five chapters. The first unit mainly introduces background and its research meaning, and the meaning, research history and theory basis of cooperative learning are summarize in the second unit. At the same time we introduce the basic elements and study methods of cooperative learning. In the third unit, the aims, models, assessment of teaching of this research are brought forward. The forth unit is mainly about the practical research on cooperative learning in solving problem guidance class of high normal force course. The educational experiments are designed and implemented, and the experiment conclusion is analyzed. Then we summarize the result of this research, put forward teaching methods, point out the lack in the research, and make an investigative outlook.
