Basal geographic information platform system of YunNan province is the spatial data infrastructure for digital construction of YunNan province,it is a Basal geographic information platform system that integrated the functions :the storage and management, maintenance, release, and applying of spatial information, the system is complicated and big-workload, including many theorys and technics to solve.This article studies the original design and some theorys and technics of the system. as a participator, the author put an emphasis on the study of the theory and technic of map' s border-fitting. After studying the existed fruit , the author presented new algorithm for map' s border-fitting, and developed the program based on the platform-ARCGIS, using COM technic. The module was integrated into Basal geographic information platform system of YUNNAN province. now, the platform system has been in use.Main contributions of the dissertation include:1. Particularly studied the organization and management of the data from many sources and how to organize and manage the spatial data and attribute data using Oracle 9i and SDE.2. Studing the content of quality check when loading data into database, and load data by hand.3. Particularly studied the theory and method of component developing.4. about the function of Border fitting(1)Analyzing and summarizing the merit and shortage of several border-fitting modules of frequently used GIS softwares(2) Presenting new Border fitting algorithm on the basis of Analyzing and summarizing preceding algorithms(3)developing the program based on the platform-ARCGIS, using COM technic.5.studying the theory and method of GIS project testing...
