The Xuetangkeng molybdenum mine is located in the Sankeng Village, Shizhong Town, Longyan City, Fujian province. In the north, it is adjacent to the famous large-scale iron ore mine (Makeng iron ore mine) in southward of China. The ore area is located in the contact zone of Zhenghe-Dapu geofracture and Dayang black mica granite body. It is affected by the regional structures and Dayang rock mass. So, it has the excellent ore -forming condition and the significance of prospecting molybdenum polymetallic ore can be concluded.In the ore area, it has blocked out 5 geophysical prospecting abnormity, which applied the geophysical methods such as dual-frequency induced polarization method, high accuracy magnetic measurement, EH-4 image formation of electrical conductivity. Meanwhile, it has blocked out 8 geochemical prospecting abnormity, which applied the measuring method of soil secondary halo. About the problem of the form and location of anomalies, it is nearly consistent between the 6 geochemical prospecting abnormity and geophysical prospecting abnormity. And about the problem of the distribution of anomalies, it is controlled by the contact zone of fault and rock mass.Based on the profound acquaintance of the clue for prospecting, regulation of mineralization concentration, metallotect and ore-forming rules, in this thesis, the author considers that the prospecting goal is not only about the molybdenum ore deposit of skarn type but also about the new breakthrough point of porphyry molybdenum ore deposit. Meanwhile, applying the method of empirical model anticipation and the synthetic ore prospecting model of geology, geophysics and geochemistry, 4 ore-finding prospect has been blocked out.
