This paper is divided into two chapters. In the first chapter, by using the method of[14, 16] and Kartsatos techniques, oscillation criteria for certain forced second order delaydifferential equation with impulses are established. In the second chapter, we introduce some basic concepts concerning the calculus on timescales that one needs to know to read the second part. By general Riccati transformation,Kartsatos techniques and Sayed-Wang's method, the oscillations of nonlinear forced dy-namic equations on time scales are studied in terms of the coefficients, several examples aregiven to illustrate the application of our results.
