With the appearance of the GPS (Global Positioning System),the new era of navigation technology arrived. The positioning information given by GPS can be indicated on E-map promptly, accurately and vividly. So this system could offer a service of navigation to the vehicle and things like that. As this high-tech production has some obvious characteristic, for example, protecting environment, saving energy, providing lots of information etc. it is of great importance to develop and apply the GPS navigation system into the vehicle to society.This paper elaborated the principle of GPS positioning, designed a positioning software based on graphic programming language-LabVIEW. By using GPS receiver, the LabVIEW software can collect the position and the speed information. And the principle of single-antenna attitude determination is also covered in this paper. We can get a group of real-attitude position data through imitating the flight trace. Meanwhile, we can get pseudo-attitude position data by using simulating single-antenna algorithm in Matlab. After comparing the data from two groups, we verified the feasibility of the algorithm.
