With the increasing development of national economy, the demand for the raw material of mineral is gradually rising, but the mineral resource in the surface and the extracted mining area is drying up. A lot of new theories and technologies are broadly applied in the mineral exploration to satisfy the development of economy, enrich the theory of ore-formation and succeed. Ore-formation forecast of the comprehensive information is that it synthetically collects, stores, retrieves, overlaps and analyzes the data including geology, geophysics, geochemistry and remote sensing, which offers the science proof for the ore-exploration at the deep and surroundings of the mine.The paper is sponsored by the project, the combination of multi-source information and forecast of ore-formation of Lianghe Tin-deposit in Yunnan. With the support of the software platform of GIS, it utilizes the theory of the comprehensive information ore-formation, investigates new resources at the deep and surroundings, relieves the crisis, and prolongs exploring.The predecessors have researched and explored the district of Lianghe from different aspects for dozens of years, and have accumulated the abundant data. Based on data, the paper extracts the information including geology, geophysics, geochemistry and remote sensing, establishs the ore-exploring model of the combinative information, obtains some cognition and achievement, as follows:1. Building the multi-source geo-information database, accomplish the management of spatial data and attribute data, extract and filter ore-prospecting information quickly;2. Lianghe Tin-deposit lies in the famous Dianxi ore-clime, is controlled by ne-trending fracture and ew-trending deep-layer insidious conformation. As a result, the crossing point believed as the beneficial place for exploring ore;3. Process the remote sensing image including the quickbird and ETM+ by utilizing the methods for digital image processing, extract mineralization information, interpret the line and ring structure. Achieve a great deal of fixed-quantity information by means of the software of MORPAS, such as equivalent density, average direction, item quantity, outstanding degrees, symmetry degree of centre. Summarize the prospecting model of remote sensing; 4. Discover the abnormity of Tin-geochemical through the sand in water and brae at the investigated-district of Shiwopu-Huixiangling, there may be some places to find the ore-body;5. Based on the ore-formation regularity, synthesize the ore-exploration information including geology, geochemistry and remote sensing, establish the ore-exploration model of comprehensive information. The prospecting target areas are ascertained including two target areas of class 1, two target areas of class 2 and three target areas of class 3.The result of engineering verification:the Tin resourse capacity in Lailishan is 31455.66t, the following sulphur's is 624594.95t; the ore of Siguangping have started construction and mineralized.
