As an important method of geology exploitation, logging becomes more and more important in oil and gas reservoir prospecting, evaluation and production. By researching the inhomogeneous and heterogeneous stratum, scientists want to get more information from logging response to accurately estimate the oil and gas reservoir situation. Nowadays, the development of logging theory, logging method and logging technology in complex stratum has evolved to a totally new phase. Logging system becomes the combination of computer technology, remote control and test technology, high speed data transfer, and application software.This research is supported by Chinese National Programs for High Technology Research and Development under granted 2006AA06Z222.The electromagnetic wave phase and amplitude logging tool with high resolution researched in the dissertation is a new generation of induction logging tool based on the wave theory and array induction logging. It gets the stratum conductivity and permittivity information by measuring two relative parameters, amplitude ratio and phase difference of the electromagnetic wave signal. Using different working frequencies, the logging tool researched in the dissertation has two response characteristics--sufficient vertical resolution and enough radial investigation depth.The dissertation mainly focuses on the theory research of the electromagnetic wave phase and amplitude logging tool with high resolution and its signal receiving circuit design. The comprehensive explanation of logging data and its application is the foundation of logging technology. The data processing in logging is using certain method to coordinate and explain the logging data and to display the logging information in way of graphics or forms. In the high resolving electromagnetic wave phase and amplitude logging theory, the logging tool is considered as a responding function. The measuring signal is the mapped information of the real stratum parameters. So the dissertation, based on responding function theory, analyzes the geometrical factor which would influence the responding function, the frequency scale of transmitting signal, the inversion method of electromagnetic inverse scattering and the on-sit processing of the logging. With derivate formulas and data simulations, the correctness and feasibility of the theory methods given in the dissertation is proved.As the logging responses are different with different working frequencies, the electromagnetic wave phase and amplitude logging tool with high resolution uses different frequencies in its design. As far as now, the dissertation only discusses the functional design of the signal receiving circuit. The signal receiving circuit is consist of receiving coil antenna circuit, signal receiving channel and signal processing circuit. After certain processing, such as amplification, multiple, and filter, the received signal finally transformed into relevant phase difference and amplitude ratio.
