Author according to the description geology sections and the inspection of rock core for the middle part of the western Sichuan depression,simultaneous binding more moderntimes analyses instruments,moreover synthesize correlation theory in petroleum geology,sedimentology,In depth study on the layer,sedimentary facies, the style of diagenesis,the characteristic of reservoir for Middle Triassic in the middle part of the western Sichuan depression in this paper.The study suggests that the major part the middle of the western Sichuan depression be situated on the limited epico sea.It's divided to epilittoral zone, eulittoral zone,infratid zone according to the characteristic of sedimentary facies, mostly reservoir create on high-energy zone(arenite beach,pellet beach) in eulittoral zone-infratid zone,These beaches settle favorable foundation for reservoir creation of Lei koupo group,mainly lithology is dolarenite and particle dolomite,the mainly diagenesis include dolomitisation,ancient karst,buffed denudation,packing action and cataclasis,In it dolomitisation,ancient karst,buried denudation attribute constructive diagenesis.The part of fenestra disappearance through compaction, pressolution,cementation and packing action,Secondary porosity which through buried denudation is mainly reservoir space in present.Fracture is main permeation canal which create in tectonic movement diagenetic process,pore reservoir and fracture-pore reservoir is controlled by sedimentary facies and diagenesis.
