Because of its nondestructive, convenient and precise characteristics, Ion-beam analysis method is a common tool for conventional materials surface analysis which included elastic backscattering analysis, elastic recoil detection and nuclear reaction analysis. The elastic backscattering analysis(EBS) and elastic recoil detection (ERD) method have been used to achieve this analysis in this work. The elastic scattering cross-section for proton scattering from deuterium and tritium are measured at laboratory angle of 155°,165°respectively,and over an incident proton energy range from 1.4 to 3.4 MeV using thin solid deuterium and tritium targets. The incident proton beams are provided by the NEC 9SDH-2 2×3 MV tandem accelerator at Fudan University. The Au/Si surface barrier detectors are used to detect the scatter or recoil particles. The total error is less than 7.5%.The currently measured cross-section data are compared with previous results and they show a similarly trend. The cross sections of 2.4~7.4MeV ~4He to D,T at 30°have been measured both in the form of tabulations and excitation curves. The total error is less than 8%。Various samples have been analyzed with these cross section data demonstrating their potential applications。...
