In 1980s, the word of reverse logistics first appeared in an foreign journal. In the early of 1990s, reverse logistics is beginning to be researched by some western developed countries, and then this topic was introduced into the logistics management systematically and scientifically. Researching on reverse logistics in China was a little later than other developed countries, and its application in some fields was still in the beginning stage. The thesis contributes to highlight the application of reverse logistics in medicine. By building self-contained reverse logistics system for medicine is beneficial to the government, companies and the whole society. On the one hand, it can strengthen the government's management of discarded, overdue, invalid medicine and keep the order of medicine system. On the other hand, lose of resources can be reduced, and environment could be better protected, customers could be better served and medicine companies could pose a good figure.The thesis's research on medicine reverse logistics can be divided into three parts: the first part is about the fundamental theory of logistics and reverse logistics; some traits of reverse logistics were detailed described, such as the definition of reverse logistics, the importance, the necessity and the research situation. the researching background and meaning on medicine logistics reverse were particularly proposed, at the same time, the research situation was depicted. In the second part, based on the compare of traditional medicine reverse logistics and central medicine reverse logistics, a model was proposed for single production medicine reverse logistics which include central reverse logistics hub in certain environment, and an algorithm was designed for the model. The algorithm was proved using an example. Then the model and the algorithm were extended to the situation of muti-production; In the third part, considering the uncertainty of medicine reverse logistics, uncertain programming and robust optimization were introduced , robust optimization was applied in medicine reverse logistics which the production of discarded medicine was stochastic, and a robust optimization model for medicine reverse logistics in uncertain environment was established which turns the uncertain model into a certain model. And then an example computed by Lingo was proposed to prove the validity and the feasibility of the model.
