We use magnetic field extrapolating model based on the observed magnetic field at photosphere to determine the region of the open field on the surface of sun and coronal hole, then, we select 55 front-side fast halo CMEs originating from the western hemisphere during 1997–2003, and confirm their associated coronal holes by choosing the suitable value of some parameters in magnetic field extrapolating model, further comparing determined coronal holes by our method with EIT284 image and KittPeak coronal hole maps, it is very nice to find they match very well, at last, a statistical study is performed in order to test whether coronal hole have real effects on the intensities of SEP events produced by CMEs, after synthesizing univariate and multivariate statistical analysis, we conclude coronal hole make different extent effects on the intensities of SEP events produced by CMEs, by its relevant variate.
