This article further investigated and studied the solution method of response spectrum, and investigated and studied several common method of solving response spectrum, compared the calculating error and the feture of different methods, elaborated the problem in the process of solving the response spectrum. In the study it's found that when the structure period T is little difference with the acceleration sampling intervals△t (△t/T≤1), there is big error in the high frequency part using the commom method calculate response spectra.By the wavelet method this article taked the analytical expressions of earthequake into equation of motion, get rigorous solution of response to structural, and get the analytic solution. Compareing with other methods finding that the calculation error of wavelet comes from the process of earthquake simulation.Wavelet transform is utilized to decompose an earthquake acceleration record into several wavelet components. The natural period of which is different from each other. Each component's proportion of the original acceleration record is measured by it's peak valuable. It can be clearly concluded the relations between the properties of the seismic ground motion and the epi-central distance. And it can be analyzed the relations between the varieties of each wavelets' Natural Period and the epi-central distance rational also. Besides by analyzing the acceleration response spectrums of the ground motion and the wavelets, it can also infer the effects of each wavelet to the Natural Period of the ground motion, which cannot be done before.Study on the earthquake strongly depends on the development of strong ground motion observation and development.Study on the earthquake strongly depends on the development of strong ground motion observation and development. In 5.12 Wenchuan earthquake, National Strong Motion Network Center Received a large number of complete seismic phase record of strong motion acceleration.All of that brings a good opportunity to this study. This article selected some strong motion records to study, like the records of Wolong station nearest the epicenter, the xi'an station, caotan stations, Baoji station, Chang'an station. Fouding that short period ingredient in the earthquake record closing epicenter attenuated little, but the maximum short period ingredient acceleration in the other four earthquake record far away from Wenchuan is small. It explains that the short period ingredient acceleration attenuated much after Long-distance communication.Measuring the proportion of each component in the original earthquake record through the ratio of maximum acceleration of each component and maximum acceleration of original earthquake record, the method is also adopted to the research of the different record's nature, and quantitative analysis and observations the components of the cycle of excellence.
