Reservoir elastic parameters are changed during the oil (or gas) production for water or hot steam injection. These parameters include fluid saturation, effective pressure, reservoir's temperature and some other factors. The change of these parameters leads to the change of seismic amplitudes, and it is essentially the change of elastic parameters of reservoir. How to discriminate elastic parameters' change from seismic response is critical for quantitative interpreting 4D seismic data. In another words, the rock physics theory is a link to connect reservoir's parameters (such as fluid saturation, effective pressure and so on) and seismic response. So how to construct the rock physics model is very critical to our work. Comparing with conventional geological statistics method, our model has more creditable and applicability because it is a scientific method based on rock physics theory, and every parameter has is own physical meaning. The rock physics model we constructed has a good consistent with laboratory result.Based on the Gassmann equation and Zeoppritz equation, and joint PP and PS wave inversion, we make sensitivity and quantitative analysis on fluid saturation, effective pressure and some other factors under different conditions. Our method will lay a solid foundation for wave elastic inversion in future. It also has a significant meaning on oil field exploitation later. Our study indicates that converted shear reflectivity is more sensitivity to saturation than converted compressional wave reflectivity. This means that it is possible to discriminate the oil saturated reservoir under large incidence angle. As for the relationship between effective pressure and converted compressional and shear reflectivity, the converted compressional wave reflectivity is more sensitivity to effective pressure than converted shear reflectivity. Converted shear reflectivity curve with respects to incidence angle with different effective pressure keeps declining, and the curve become abrupt when incidence angle grow. On the contrary converted compressional curve has state trend: decline, gently changing and increasing. Converted shear and compressional reflectivity curve with incidence angle curve indicate that the difference about different effective pressure's curve come up to max. it is a good idea for us to discriminate the effective...
