China is a water resources deficient country, and water pollution intensified this situation. All levels of the government in our country has clearly recognized the severe situation of water pollution and taken sewage treatment as one of key support industries in the field of environmental protection and capital construction during a period of current and future. So the technology of sewage treatment will obtain the swift development in next period of very long time. Among the numerous technology the SBR is a quite advanced craft and suitable for china's national condition. But the automation level of SBR technological process is mostly low, it is difficult to ensure water quality standards. Therefore, the research of closed-loop control to the aeration process in SBR sewage treatment craft appears very important.In the paper, according to the principle of SBR sewage treatment craft at first, the technology of BP neural network is used to establish the model of SBR aeration process based on the real-time data which is deposited on local database,It is confirmed that the model can forecast the density of dissolved oxygen more accurately in the aeration tank. Also because second aeration process of wastewater treatment is characteristics of intermittent, non-linear and big lag and so on, so fuzzy PID control technology is used to control dissolved oxygen in SBR wastewater treatment process, the simulation is carried on in the platform of MATLAB. It is confirmed that the technology of fuzzy PID control is used to adjust PID parameter properly later. It can carry on the control to the concentration aeration of dissolved oxygen in aeration tank, and the more satisfactory control effect is obtained.One of the characteristics of this paper is to establish a model of aeration BP neural network and a model of non-aeration BP neural network for revealing the working conditions of different processes. The other feature is that the technology of fuzzy PID control is used to the SBR wastewater treatment process by MATLAB simulation.
