| In underwater blasting, detonation velocity and brisance of explosives will decrease by influence of the hydrostatic pressure; not only that, sensitivity to initiation and sensitivity to pass of explosives will also increase, because explosive density will increase by influence of the hydrostatic pressure; emulsion explosives are used for underwater blasting widely in recent years, so research of water resistance and compression resistance of emulsion explosives in deep water will have directive function for underwater blasting and development of emulsion explosives.The total pressure of underwater charge is made of standing water surface atmospheric pressure and the hydrostatic pressure. Environment of deep water charge is simulated by change of standing water surface pressure.Water-resistant experimental equipment and compression-resistant experimental equipments are devised, which are both being satisfied with experiments.In the paper, recovery, water resistance and compression resistance of emulsion explosives are researched mostly, which are have same emulsion matrix and different sensitive methodsThe main conclusions are as follows:Range of the hydrostatic pressure from 0.0MP to 0.4MPa, three types of emulsion explosives all have excellent water resistance. From good to bad, their order is as follows: emulsion explosives sensitized by glass micro-balloons, emulsion explosives sensitized by bubbling agent, emulsion explosives sensitized by expanded pearlites; water resistance of emulsion explosives is not main reason of underwater blasting effect.Range of the hydrostatic pressure from O.OMP to 1.0MPa, three types of emulsion explosives all have excellent recovery, so we test capability of emulsion explosives which must be kept under deep water and can not leave deep water environments.Range of the hydrostatic pressure from O.OMP to 0.4MPa, compression resistance of three types of emulsion explosives is very different. From good to bad, their order is as follows:emulsion explosives sensitized by glass micro-balloons, emulsion explosives sensitized by expanded pearlites, emulsion explosives sensitized by bubbling agent.Especial inner structure of emulsion explosives is formed by emulsifier; especial inner structure of emulsion explosives is kept by charges of emulsion particles.This is main reason that emulsion explosives all have excellent water resistance in deep water.Range of the hydrostatic pressure from 0.0MP to 0.4MPa, fall extent of explosion capability of emulsion explosives sensitized by bubbling agent and emulsion explosives sensitized by expanded pearlites are both great; for the former, the main reason is that sensitized bubbles shrink and explosive density increases excessively; for the latter, the main reason is that hotspots in unit volume is reversely little and explosive density increases excessively. In the same condition, fall extent of explosion capability of emulsion explosives sensitized by glass micro-balloons is not great; the main reason is that hotspots in unit volume is reversely much although the explosive density also increases. Water resistance of emulsion explosives is main reason of underwater blasting effect. |
