Air separation equipment is an important link in a metallurgical industry, but the pre-cooling system in the air separation process occupies an important position, pre-cooling system operation whether is stable, direct impact on the effectiveness of an air separation plant. Waste of China's resources is serious, especially water resources, for the pre-cooling system, researches electrical control and proposes measures for energy-saving, has the necessity. This paper takes the pre-cooling system's industrial control as the concrete object of study, offered to energy-saving targets for the control of optimization technology to improve production process efficiency, reduces energy and material consumption. In this paper the design process is taken research methods by combining theory and practice, laboratory experiments and the debugging of industrial scene are connected, software's development and hardware's design are compatible.In this paper, the pre-cooling system of process is described, and explains its components. Briefly addresses the principle of pre-cooling system, studies control of its operating characteristics in order to provide effective solutions, so as to reveal the existence of problems and explore solutions to provide the premise. For energy loss is analyzed in the production process of the pre-cooling system, mainly studies Loss of cooling capacity between the cooling water and compressed air, as well as the heat exchange in the flow rate changes, new or old of air-cooling tower, or the environment and season all effect energy consumption. We obtain advantage for the cooling water and the compressed air to heat exchange, conducive to the establishment of mathematical relationships in order to achieve the purpose of reducing energy consumption. Also studies the energy consumption of pump motors, grasps work of pump motor in the pre-cooling system, infers more energy-efficient measures. This paper studies the control technology of the pre-cooling system to optimize, analysis water supply of the pre-cooling system, through studying level of the cooling tower, the cooling effect and the cooling water flow, to achieve automatic adjustment of flow for the optimal effect of energy-saving, has the high economic value.With the premise of in-depth understanding of processes and composition in the pre-cooling system, prepares for electrical control studies and energy analysis, introduces effective and feasible method to improve, combines with the above study the establishment of controller and uses PID control of fuzzy model, combines with Matlab simulation to verify the program of measures is reasonable. Proposed that the water pump motor use frequency control in the pre-cooling system, thereby realizes energy-saving of the pre-cooling system, obtains the good economic efficiency. Considered the traditional technique of simulation's real-time, this paper takes an asynchronous motor as an object, the real-time system simulation based on MATLAB/RTW which have the function of connecting hardware, it make the whole research Process closed to the collateral Process. The cycle of the research Process should be shorten.
