Gas accident is crucial problem that influence safety in production in our country. Many producitve practive indicate that underground pressure changing of working face and gas emission are very correlative. 12071 working face in Pingdingshan Coal Co.Ltd.No.13 is a low gaseous mine, but the gas of working face over secure density during periodic weighting, so it is very important toward gas prevention and cure to study relationship between underground pressure changing of working face and gas emission.Many ways are used to study this subject such as numerical simulation, similar simulation and theory analyzing. First, Wall gas emission and gob gas emission are studied as subject investigated by analyzing the source of the gas. Through monitoring the abutment pressure, gas emission rate in borehole and anthill quantity, this paper analyses relationship between front abutment pressure changing and Wall gas emission, and analyzing their mechanics. It is studied that regularities of distribution of gas content in gob and relationship between main roof caving in gob and the changing of gas content in working face by monitoring and similar simulation. At last, the author studies gas content changing of coal face when periodic weighting by installing mining multiple function observation system 2004B type, and points out this relationship is came into being because front abutment pressure changing and main roof caving in gob when periodic weighting by theory analyzing.
