Qing Dynasty Period (1644-1796) Su River Basin Agricultural Reclamation And Ecological Environment

Agricultural production is the main activities which can affect natural in the feudal society,the agricultural production activities of the human and the environment is inextricably linked,both of them are interdependence and development together.Along the Sushui River basin,the relationship between the agricultural development and the ecological environment during the early days of Qing Dynasty is the main object of this study,it can reveal the relationship between the agricultural cultivation and the environment more deeply.The article gives a brief introduction about the terrain and climate conditions in the Sushui River basin firstly,then mainly based on the local historical data about the records of the number of agricultural cultivation,the description of the status of Water Developments the description of the situation of forest resources and the records of flood disaster,reorganizes the state of agricultural production,the situation of the Water Development,the forest resources,the flood disaster carefully in the Sushui River basin during the early days of Qing Dynasty. So summarizes the features and patterns of the agricultural production and the Water Development in the Sushui River basin,then compares these to the results of the forest resources and the flood disasters,and concludes:The climax of land reclamation along the Sushui River Basin is in the Kangxi reign, to the Yongzheng and Qianlong period,some of the land has been reclaimed completed which is more easily reclaimed,the object of people gradually transfer to the mountain,sand alkaline land,flood land.This exactly consistent with the changing of the forest distribution during this period,that,the forest distribution of the Yongzheng and Qianlong periods is less than the forest distribution of the Junji and Kangxi periods.The waterlogging disasters is exactly corresponding to the climax of land reclamation and the reduction of forest resources,it occurres frequently during this period,however,we also find that the flood of Sushui River Basin occurred in the rainy season,and the terrain of the Basin also have a great influence to the disasters. So,under the interaction of the land reclamation the reduction of the forest resources,the climate and the terrain,the agricultural ecological environment of the Sushui River Basin also have a changing,such as the changing of the Sushui Rive,Yaoxian Drainage and Wuxing lake.In addition,Water Development is an essential part in the agricultural production,it is also the human positive behavior to response to the ecological environment which we can not be ignored during our study. In the course of the struggle with nature.the production technology,the irrigation technology of mankinds has been greatly improved.The water activities, such as channels irrigation,ensuring the smooth progress of agricultural production,it also improve the environment of agricultural production,making the environment more conducive to agricultural production, during the course of the study,we can not ignore these positive factors.
