The Clouthing Comparative Study Of Beiqi And Beizhou

Beiqi and Beizhou as the Late North Dynasty two existing regime at the same time, in the most turbulent period in chinese ancient history, absorbing the results of Hu-Han national cultural fusion. Due to the influence of the minority clothing, make the Central plains clothing on the overall clothing system of han dynasty basis development and evolution, gradually presents the diversification and differentiation in term of men’s and women’s apparel. The Late Northern Dynasty clothing, on the whole, although all presented the characteristic of Hu-Han fusion, but due to the different of two regimes caused the uniqueness of their clothing shape, and the clothing as an aggregation of the culture, can directly reflect the political, economical, military and cultural differences of the local social. In this paper, for The Late Northern Dynasty clothing of yecheng and xianyang to study,on the basis of predecessors’ research results, through a large number of archaeological data collecting and organizing, reveals both the characteristics of the clothing formation that beiqi towards Hu-Hua and beizhou towards Han-Hua,and regular of inheritance and evolution, by the time after, to explore the causes of both clothing form differences. First of all, from three aspects of men’s, women’s and uniform, stating the clothing form that include kuzhefu,liangdangfu,shanfu,paofu,qunfu,Tongxiu armor,Li-angdang armor,mingguang armor and so on in the yecheng and xianyang,introducing its clothing type of origin, and summing up both clothing form. Second, summarizing basic style of both clothing, and analyzing the same of the clothing form of kuzhefu,qufu,mingguang armor and thedifference of the shanfu,paofu,liangdang armor and tongxiu armor. Again, analyzing the inheritance of both clothing Qin-Han dynasties and the effect to Sui-Tang dynasties from the clothing form, Showing the development and evolution of the clothing at the two regimes. Finally, From many aspects, such as Hu-Han national fusion and geographical factors of beiqi and beizhou to discusse the reasons behind their clothing. In short, the clouthing of this period are formed in the background of the Hu-Han national cultural fusion for the mainstream, embodies the creativity of breaking tradition and the compatibility of learning others strong points in this period. These have the certain enlightenment significance for clothing design and use in today’s society.
