High pressure pipe joints often work at high pressure态corrosive fluid corrosion and great stress, It is extremely easy to be influenced by erosion defect, so regularly use NDT testing to estimate piping erosion is an important means to ensure the safety of pressure pipe.In this paper, based on the hazard of erosion defects, discussed the main production and its influence factors of erosion defects in detail, and make a specific description of the measures to prevent erosion defect of high pressure pipe manifold. Through introduction theory of a detailed classification of ultrasonic testing method, the advantages and disadvantages, influence factors and ultrasonic wave propagation path in the pressure pipe, get the main method adopts in engineering and the detection principle of high-pressure pipeline erosion defects. Through study the domestic and foreign related pressure manifold detection data, combined with the actual test, summed up the pressure manifold detection process.In order to detect the erosion defects in pressure pipe better, use laser ultrasonic visualizing inspector, ultrasonic flaw detector, ultrasonic thickness gauge to detect the high pressure pipe block: use laser ultrasonic visualizing inspector to preliminary determine whether there is erosion defects in block and the location of it. then use ultrasonic flaw detector to preliminary quantitative and locating defects, and finally use ultrasonic thickness gauge to quantitative the defects in the erosion defects area of block. Through the test of block for erosion defect qualitative, positioning and the effective method of quantitative.
