With the exploitation,the oil content is reducing and the water content is increasing.We need an apparatus on measuring the water content in oil,which has high precision,extensive measuring range and low cost is need,and which can be installed at the mouth of every oil well to ensure the high efficient using of every oil well.Although many methods have been used in this field,most of them have the disadvantages,such as narrow measuring range and high cost.These disadvantages induce the unsuitability for the measurement in the oil fields of china,where the oil includes high water content.At the same time,these apparatus can not be used at every well economically for their high cost.In this paper,different methods are comprehensively analyzed and compared.The coaxial cylinder capacitance sensor has been specially introduced and it can be installed in the pipeline directly.The configuration parameter of the coaxial cylinder capacitance sensor has also been designed optimally.Build a water content of crude oil detection system using coaxial cylinder capacitance sensor.In order to eliminate the low precision and disturbing influences,integrated chip CAV444 is used to collect the data.At the same time,the temperature compensation is made by the temperature sensor.Considersing the long distance between the well and the center controller atrocious,GSM and Electronics Clock are used to transmit the data timely. With detailed descriptions of the hardware circuit design and software processes. The hardware design include:capacitive sensor design RC oscillator circuit, capacitance-voltage conversion circuit, temperature measuring circuit, liquid crystal display circuit, keyboard keys, circuits, power supply circuit. The software design includes:the main program design, data collection routines, display and GSM subroutine, wireless module subroutine, temperature compensation subroutine and error analysis procedures,feasibility of this system has been validated in the laboratory.The test results proved the feasibility and reproducibility of the on-line measurement system of the water content in crude oil.The measurement results can also be used for accurate estimation of crude oil production,controlling the state of oil wells,prediction of oil field development life,reducing resource consumption effectively and reducing production cost.We can make a step to the automated management of crude oil exploitation.And the system design is less expensive,it suitable for general application in the industry of crude oil exploitation. |
