Physical model test and numerical simulation is a powerful method for lakes hydrodynamic and water quality problem, the study of hydrodynamic and water quality has important theoretical significance and application value. This paper takes the Jinan Huashan Lake as the research object, constructed the Hydraulic model of Huashan Lake, established two-dimensional hydrodynamic and water quality model. By using the established model to simulate the changes of flow field and water quality in the lake. Aimed at provide important scientific basis for engineering design and construction of Huashan Lake.This paper main research content is as follows:(1) Hydraulic model test research of Huashan Lake. According to the design of Huashan Lake, building the hydraulic model. Considering the normal operating mode, water diversion from Xiao Qing He and outflow from Shan Tou Dian Gou, simulating lake water flow regime. Analysis of the water in the lake district, the presence of dead zones. Analysis of the lakes within the layout, islands, hydraulic structure layout, the form of revetment, the bottom elevation design and the rationality of the distribution of water depth, and provide modification Suggestions, make it is advantageous to the circulating water flow.(2) Hydrodynamic numerical simulation of Huashan Lake. Using Mike21 software to establish Huashan Lake two-dimensional hydrodynamic model, and by using test data for model calibration and verification. Using the model to simulate the hydraulic elements, such as the flow field and water level of the lake districts in different working condition. According to the simulation results, to modify the plane geometry modeling and the form of revetment. To facilitate the flow of the lake water, increasing the flow of oxygen and water exchange level.(3) Water quality simulation of Huashan Lake. According to the actual water quality data, constructing the water quality model of Huashan lake using 21-ECO Lab Mike water eco module. The hydrodynamic model of the Huashan lake is coupled with the water quality model, simulating Huashan Lake water quality situation and analyzing the evolution trend of water quality.(4) Lake District design scheme optimization. According to the results of water hydraulic model test and numerical simulation, combined with actual engineering situation, putting forward optimal layout scheme to facilitate Huashan Lake water flow characteristics, and putting forward reasonable Suggestions and improvement measures to the lake water quality.
