The process mechanism of ultrasonic vibration honing and the analysis of vibration system are the important trend of the application of modern cutting technology. The destination is to break through the traditional single Longitudinal Vibration, so that it can make the compound vibration of longitudinal bending,longitudinal torsion, double bending model come true. The cut’s special motion track in the compound vibration not only can help scraps out, but also can benefit the cooling, lubrication, cleaning of the work area by cutting liquid. The compound vibration also can avoid scraps from scratching the well processed surface and improve the working quality and efficiency to open up a new technology method for the finish machining of the part’s internal surface.This paper analyzes the physical model and vibration properties of the vibration system in the basic of analyzing the process mechanism of ultrasonic vibration honing. It sets up mathematical model of the vibration system. Besides, mode analysis, transient dynamic analysis, harmonic response analysis of vibration system have been done by using finite element analysis software ANSYS. Then the result of numerical modeling is described by graphs and curves in the after treatment module.The test research of vibration system has been done in the foundation of finite element analysis software. It tries to infer the influence of every factor to amplitude and frequency through detecting the amplitude and frequency of the parts of vibration system, such as vibration rod, flexural vibration disk and chute. It gets the best technological parameters of being designed vibration system by test data. The test results are fit for the results of finite element analysis software ANSYS.The ultrasonic vibration honing test to titanium alloys TC4 which is one of the difficult to cut materials has been done by using the self design and homemade ultrasonic vibration honing device. Comparison test and orthogonal test are used to analysis effect of ultrasonic vibration honing and ordinary honing processing. It obtains the optimum technological parameters by analyzing of the effect of processing parameters in ultrasonic vibration honing test to titanium alloy TC4.This paper applies the Longitudinal and Torsion Ultrasonic Vibration Honing which provides theoretical foundation to structure design and performance optimize of compound vibration system in the ultrasonic vibration honing.
