In this paper,according to the solubility of sulfur in sour gas varies with the temperature and pressure of the law,accurate sulfur deposition prediction model is established, the elemental sulfur deposition in the pipeline position and precipitation amount are calculated,and determine the economic pipe pigging period.Lay the foundation for the prevention and control of sulfur deposition in gas pipeline. This paper mainly completed the following work:(1) Through the study of the physical properties of sulfuric acid containing gas, preferably on the calculation method of physical parameters, draw the conclusion: the most suitable method to calculate the sulfurous gas deviation factor is DPR method(W- A correction). The Dempsey method combined with the Stanging correction is the first method of calculating the sulfurous gas viscosity.The main influence factors of parameters of sour gas is H2S、temperature、and pressure when calculating the physical parameters. Among them the content of H2S is bigger influence on the deviation factor and viscosity.In the case of low pressure gas viscosity is decreased with the increase of H2S content,and under the condition of high pressure gas viscosity is increased with the increase of content of H2S.(2) According to the law of conservation of energy and momentum principles.The temperature distribution model of gas pipeline pressure is established. Through the calculation results compared with the actual results.This paper established the calculation model can better predict the pipe the distribution of temperature and pressure, and the error is small.(3) By comparing the experiment method, empirical formula method, calculation method of the three methods for predicting the merits of the sulfur solubility in the acidic gas model, Analysis it is concluded that the calculation method is the most suitable model used to predict the solubility of sulphur. Through the solid phase when sulfur components reach the thermodynamic equilibrium of the gas phase fugacity equal this conclusion deduced the expression of solid sulfur solubility in the acidic gas.(4) According to the project of gas solid two phase flow theory and stress analysis of solid particles, conclusion the kinetic model of sulfur deposition, Thus to calculate the critical speed of the sulfur deposition, If the flow rate is greater than the critical speed, The precipitation of sulfur will not be deposited in the pipeline. On the contrary,the precipitation of sulfur will be deposited in the pipeline.(5) Summarizes the factors influencing the pigging period:the minimum allowable transmission efficiency, maximum allowable effusion amount, and the maximum allowable pressure drop, and those have been made the detailed description. The pigging process decision and pigging period are determined according to relevant standards and specifications of the oil and gas industry, from the aspects of gas transmission efficiency are determined, finally calculate the effects of sulfur deposition under the economic pigging period.
