The application of the transition metal that has certain redox properties is very extensive in catalysis and medicine. so the transition metal is introduced into the framework of polyoxometalate may get high quality of polyoxometalate.The studies of the transition metal as hetero atom and sandwich atoms at the same time are relatively few. Because trilacunary precursor consists of transition metal atom and sandwich section also contains transition metal atom, between the transition metal electron transfer can take place,making its structure is unique, so in medicine, catalysis, magnetic, optical sensors and materials science have excellent performances. In this study, We synthesized two sandwich-type polyoxometalate which transition metal atom zinc is a heteroatom while sandwich part there are still transition metal atom. Na10(H2O)34{[Zn(H2O)]2 Sb2(Zn W9O34)2}·8H2O and Na10(H2O)34{[Mn(H2O)]2Sb2(Zn W9O34)2}·8H2O. Determination of the crystal structure is the use of ICP, IR, XRD and TG. the possible nature of the two cases Weakly sandwich-type structure of tungstenzincate were discussed in detail. Further characterization of their structure but also its potential applications that may exist are explored, the study found that the two compounds have a catalytic function of alcohol.
