| Assembly plays an important role in modern manufacturing. According to statistics, assembly proccess ocuppies about 20%~50% of the whole product manufacturing time,thereby the improvement of assemblability of products can effectively improve the production efficiency, shorten the production cycle and lower the costs.The assembly sequence planning plays an important part in the product assembly process and its quality has a direct impact on product assemblability, assembly quality and cost. As global marketing competetion become more and more fierce and the enterprises aim at improving product quality, reducing production cost, accelerating the development of new products, to meet the growing needs of costumers,assembly sequence planning is getting more attention.Firstly, the current research status of the assembly sequence planning is summarized. On the bais of analysis of manufacturing enterprises demand, a overall system framework and introduces the system development technique route of assembly sequence planning system is proposed, the system function modules are described as well. Secondly, the basic theory of the gravitational search algorithm and the detailed calculation process are expounded, the influence of related parameters on the performance of the gravitational search algorithm is discussed, the assembly sequence planning method based on the gravitational search algorithm is proposed, the implementation of the principle of gravitational search algorithm in assembly sequence planning and the detailed steps are described. then, an example is presented to verify the feasibility of the algorithm. It confirms that the algorithm can be applied to the assemb ly planning of complex product.By adopting the technical scheme based on the combination of CATIA and Virtools, it completes the development of assembly sequence planning system, realizes the assembly sequence planning and interactive virtual assembly process and introduces the system interface and associated operation mode. Finally this paper the research results are summarized and expounded the research directions in the future. |
