Papers for the comprehensive utilization of a refractory sulfur containing copper iron ore in Indonesian as the research target.Through the mineral composition analysis,pure mineral chalcopyrite and pyrite,actual ore sorting test,and infrared spectrum analysis.Find out the reasons of the mine is difficult to separate, completed the copper and sulfur separation and comprehensive utilization of iron resources.Mineral composition study,the the grade of copper is 1.53%, the grade of iron is 39.70%, the grade of sulfur is 13.46%, silver is 14.00 g/t, gold is less than 0.5g/t.Magnetite is the major metal minerals, followed by pyrite, a small amount of hematite, chalcopyrite, copper blue.Content is more sparse include chalcocite,smithsonite, bornite, white lead, etc., to trace.Non-metallic mineral composition is more complicated, there are quartz, garnet and calcite, tremolite, talc, sericite, clay minerals containing iron, epidote, chlorite, etc.Magnetite is the density of granular mosaic collection block formation, and pyrite is vein distribution.Mineral monomer dissociation degree is bad.Which is difficult to separate the reason is mainly:(1) iron clay minerals attached on the surface of magnetite and pyrite, the influence of copper sulfur flotation separation and sulfur, lead to excessive sulfur of iron concentrate.(2)copper mineral monomer dissociation degree of difference, because too fine disseminated extent.(3) at the same time containing primary chalcopyrite and secondary copper blue and chalcocite, etc., bring high copper ions in the pulp,activation of pyrite, copper sulfur is difficult to separate.Therefore, long-term of the mine production and experiments show that the flotation only 10 ~ 12% with the grade of copper concentrate of copper, iron concentrate grade is lower than 60%, and contain high amounts of copper, sulfur, unable to get qualified concentrate products.Therefore, the key of realizing the copper pyrite resources comprehensive utilization of the mine, is the solution for copper ion of pyrite pulp activation problem,to obtain the high grade of copper concentrate, implementation of sulfur recovery.And then, the recovery of iron.For this reason, the pulp p H influence the pure mineral of pyrite and chalcopyrite were studied,the results showed that the pulp p H didn’t have much impact on chalcopyrite;But copper sulfate can activate pyrite significantly.Using the new type of composite inhibitor(HT1) +(HT2) can effectively restrain the pyrite, not restrain chalcopyrite, copper sulfide flotation separation can beimplemented.Explores the first magnetic floating and floating before after magnetic process scheme for the two different ultimately determine the magnetic floating before process, with new type of composite inhibitor HT1 + HT2 as pyrite’s inhibitors,obtained a copper concentrate grade of 6.71% and 6.71%, the recovery rate of 6.71%;A sulfur concentrate grade of 15.54% and 15.54%, the recovery is 15.54%; Rate of iron concentrate grade of 38.95% and 38.95%, the recovery rate of 62.35%. In the copper concentrate containing, Ag120 g, Au3.5 g/t,is a good indicator.Infrared spectrum analysis, the new inhibitor HT1 and HT2 is a kind of calcium agents,can make the pyrite be suppressed because its containing calcium ions react with sulfur in pyrite, generate hydrophilic precipitation covering on the surface, thus preventing the Cu2 +activation of pyrite, reducing the flotability of pyrite, and pyrite be suppressed.
