Since John Rocky Baird showed the TV set in London in 1925, CRT display technology had dominated TV industry for several years. It is until 1980s that rear projection replaced the position of CRT gradually, becoming a new display technology. With the requirement of bigger, thinner and clearer display quality, panel display will replace those two display technology. Liquid crystal display is the most important way in panel display.As the most widely used display mode nowadays, LCD has been used in nearly every aspects in our life. As the main stream display mode, liquid crystal display is on the vital position all the time, and it has been used in computer, TV, vehicle navigation and so on. Lately, telephone website developed very fast, which need LCD to be screen as well. However, the liquid crystal may not be accordance with more requirements in new display ways, then, scientists put forward some display mode, such as flexible display,3D display and high definition display.Cholesterol liquid crystal flexible display will be used in some display domains that not update pictures frequently, for example goods brands, e-book and some big electronic advertisement panels. However, traditional liquid crystal panel is not able to performance well in colorful display, especially in contrast ratio after bending, the display picture is different from the real scene, big power consumption and the color is not in accordance with the real objects. These problems make display not so well, and not able to apply in real life. To solve the problem of gray scale control, as well as the reflectivity of RGB single color, in order to make display stable and reality, to apply to make people’s life convenient, this paper mainly discusses the factors that influence the wave length of cholesterol liquid crystal, such as the voltage, wave, frequency and so on, to control the reflectivity and wave length of cholesterol liquid crystal.
