The past twenty years, a series of change within the printing industry, one of the most notable progress leap is the application of digital printing technology, and on this basis, in order to adapt to different printing purposes the introduction of advanced technology. Along with the digital printing technology is more and more perfect, at the same time, we can’t ignore a problem, that is the development of digital printing ink in order to adapt to different ways of digital printing. In digital printing, the printing ink is used matching the digital printing machine, it is not a simple single commodity. With the rising of digital printing technology, the printing ink for printing process is an impartible part also needs continuous research and development. For ink study, the purpose is that no matter under what application(such as, whether a small brochures to print, large posters, or trademark printing, etc.), the ink can be optimized with the machine to show the superiority of digital printing, in order to provide the best printing effect. Both traditional printing and digital printing, the most care about is always the quality of the print effect.The printing quality has important relation with ink and paper and their contact interaction, particularly the ink spread out and permeability are the direct factors affect the printing quality. Paper has a complex porous structure, which leading the penetration of ink on paper to be difficult to precise calculation. In this paper, we focus on the mechanism of interaction between ink and paper, the research and development of the Washburn equation. The Washburn formula is based on static penetration, while the freedom infiltration process in the contact of ink and paper is a dynamic process, so I further deduces a kind of ink dynamic penetration model based on dynamic contact Angle, and mathematical analyze some important parameters of the model aiming to that the dynamic model can more accurately describe the state of ink penetration into the paper, then from theory to predict the quality of printed matter control. Finally, we make a comparative tests comparing the actual measurement of the experiment test values and the calculated value according to the established model, further confirm the correctness of the model and feasibility, make it the result of the printing quality control.
