With the top and bottom blowing technology improvement and technology improved gradually, with the oxygen jet on bath stirring uniform top and bottom blowing, which makes the reaction in the furnace near equilibrium, iron loss reduced; while featuring retains the top blowing method that is easy to control the slagging process, prolonging the life of furnace, saving alloy, improving the characteristics of collection the ratio in converter steelmaking gradually occupied the dominant position, but it also has many limitations, the most important one is the thin metal tube type bottom blowing elements structure is more complex, much more production processes, costs more, and the diameter is small(diameter is generally 2mm), the resistance loss is higher, if used in the low pressure gas source under the condition of irrigation, it easily contributes to hot-metal carburized steel, the technology requirements of maintenance is complex, difficult to master. Capillary resistance loss is higher, meanwhile higher requirements for use of the pressure, under the condition of lower air supply intensity ranges small regulation. In BOF slag splashing condition, it is difficult to fit large adjustment range of bottom blowing requirements. The machining process of static in the capillary welding, etc., easily to cause capillary congestion so that the bottom blowing elements supply capacity is reduced. Such shortcomings they are, therefore I mainly improve the bottom gun nozzle design issues and the innovation of the bottom gun protecting brick, according to different types of furnace I design some concrete operation schemes, such as selection of bottom gun number and location of oxygen and the strength of some adjustment and design. To improve a number of top and bottom blowing shortcomings, which can avoid a lot of loss. Having practiced in the specific operation of converter, achieves significant results.
