This paper aims to study the parallel computing about the growth mechanism base on phase-field model during liquid food crystal freeze concentration. The structural diagram of ice crystal was simulated on two-dimensional basis. After understanding the problem, we have also discussed the numerical analysis, parallel computer system architectonic and parallel programming principles concerned. Steps included as follows:1) Based on the mathematical model of microscopic phase-field theory, solute field equation and disturbed differential equation created from the growth mechanism of liquid food ice crystal during Freeze Concentration, we have studied numerical discretization method as well as discussed the errors numerical calculation via the numerical analysis.2) General principles of parallel computing system, as well as hardware features concerning parallel computing performance in particular have been well studied3) Coupled with ShuGuang super computer 5000A(230Tflops) in Shanghai Center for Supercomputing, parallel computer system as well as computation node resources in particular has been studied to create a solving model of parallel computing by mapping the outcome of numerical analysis to Shuguang 5000A computation node.4) General principles of MPI and OpenMP parallel designing have been studied. Combined with numerical analysis, granularity matching speedup model has been also exploded with the connections between granularity partitions and parallel performance and parallel programming technology in computing and communicating studied as well.5) Proper calculating method of parallel data processing and procedure has also been created.6) The analysis and testing of procedure data as well as the parallel performance evaluation method have been discussed.
