Scale formation of the injection system is an important problem during the development and production in the oilfield. Produced reinjection water mixed with the incompatible water,due to the change of conditions of pressure, temperature, ionic composition, Scale is formed quickly. It is seriously harmful,sometimes pipeline blockage, and equipment scrap, and more seriously formation blockage and equipment scrap will be made,water injection wells scrapped and great economic losses will be made to the oil field. Engineers have struggled for a long time to find solutions.This paper studied the influence factors of the scale in the injection system, including scale composition, characters and causes of single scale and composite scale, influencing factors and Scale formation and scaling prevention mechanism. And it also studied the physical scale formation and scale prevention of Shengtuo oilfield and chemical technology. The scale formation and corrosion of oil-water wells are closely related to the oil and water wells, so the prevention and removal of the scale in the oil-water injection system is relatively complex.This scale in the Shengtuo oilfield is mainly calcium carbonate scale which is located in the bend and pipeline diameter, water injection wells and near wellbore. As the scale formation is combined with the corrosion, sewage complex composition, the composition of the scale is more complex, it is not a single calcium carbonate or calcium sulfate.The reason causing calcium carbonate scale is the high ionic concentration in water or poor compatibility with the formation water and also influenced by temperature, pressure, pH, dissolved gas, bacteria and other factors. The calcium sulfate scale of oil field water injection system is mainly caused by the incompatibility between the formation water and the scaling tendency. The scaling tendency is poorly connected with the temperature and pressureScale formation is one of the most important factors that affect the oilfield production. The best choice for scale prevention must be done before scale formed and the control must be based on the prediction of scaling tendency. Through the reference of the mathematical model of the scale prediction, prediction software which is related with the composition, temperature, pressure and pH value of the water. The predicted results are in accord with the experimental results. An efficient composite scaling agent has been made that could be used in Shengtuo oilfield. An Shengtuo oilfield sewage treatment and recycling system of scale prevention system has been formed and got an remarkable effect in the field application.
